Ghusl (Bathing) & Burial Instructions for Children

Bathing Steps:

1. Ghusl is performed similarly to adults but with gentleness and fewer washes (1–3 times).

2. Wudhu is optional.

3. Dry and apply perfume if appropriate.

Shrouding Steps:

1. Wrap in 2–3 sheets, depending on age and gender.

2. Use smaller Qamees and Izar, and a head covering for girls.

3. Tie gently.

Burial Steps:

• Janazah prayer is offered for all children (especially after birth).

• Body placed on right side facing Qiblah.
