Holy Kaaba Key from the time of the 30th Sultan of the Ottoman Empire Mahmud II. This key was made for and presented to the custodians of Kaaba in 1245 Hijri (1830 gregorian year). 

The key is made of special copper & weight is approximately 2 kilograms and 42 centimeters in diameter.

It has the written Quranic verses upon it. بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم - إنا فتحنا لك فتحا مبينا 

The package contains its original bag, green silk-wrapped cloth, and the key.

History. The keys to the Kaaba were bestowed on Tasm, a tribe of ʿĀd before Quraysh. It passed to Khuza'a, then Qusai, who gave it to his son Abdul Dar, who handed it over to his son Othman. It shifted from one person to another until it rested with their nephew Shaiba.
